I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to create a few assets for 2017's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, one of which was the large monolithic statues found in Goron City! I was given posed meshes of each character from Nintendo which I used as reference to make the "rock-i-fied" versions that I created. I also applied the UV mapping and layered material seen in the final game (texture's were already premade by Nintendo). The statues are featured very prominently in the game, and are even part of an important cut scene! It was super cool to be able to work on such an incredible game like BOTW, and such an iconic franchise like the Legend of Zelda, one of my favourites of all time!
