At the start of my career, I had the privilege of working as an Environment Artist on Need for Speed Underground 2, the critically acclaimed sequel to Need for Speed Underground, where I also contributed as a Technical Artist. Under the guidance of Art Director Neil Eskuri, I was responsible for designing and creating the iconic buildings in the Central Business District of the fictional City of Bayview. My role included populating the area with terrain, props, storefronts, and smaller structures to bring Bayview’s urban landscape to life.
In addition to building environments, I was part of the "fire team," a select group of artists responsible for refining and elevating the quality of various map sections to meet our high project standards. Working on this high-profile title early in my career was a formative experience, allowing me to develop skills in both technical and artistic realms. I’m grateful to have contributed to a project that received widespread recognition for its visual fidelity and innovative style, and I am proud to have helped shape an environment that continues to resonate with fans of the series.
