ICARUS: New Frontiers - Grasslands Biome

I had the pleasure of working as Lead 3D Artist on ICARUS: New Frontiers DLC, part of my role being assigned to give feedback and direction to the World Artists as they built the Prometheus map using assets created by the rest of the Art Team. As our team is relatively small compared to other teams that have worked on games the size and scope of ICARUS, we often have to wear many "hats" in order to get the job done, and I was happy to help the World Artists in this regard.

It was a fun challenge helping to guide and direct the Junior World Artists as they toiled away at building the Prometheus map for this DLC, and I'm proud of our 3D Art team for the great work that they did in creating all the cliffs, rocks, and foliage that they used to populate it. All that you see of the environment was created under my guidance and direction, in collaboration with the Concept Team, led by Cam Crawford, and other Senior Artists, with most of the foliage being created by myself.

This is the Volcanic Biome of the Prometheus map, which was created for the New Frontiers DLC for ICARUS.
